Senior Engineer
Dane Hopkin, P.E, S.E.
Dane Hopkin is a Senior Professional Engineer at ESD and he heads up the Cody, WY office and he leads the northern Wyoming effort. He is a Wyoming native and a University of Wyoming graduate with both a B.S. in Architectural Engineering (2008) and a M.S. in Civil Engineering (2012). After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dane moved to Salt Lake City to work for a local firm, designing both commercial and residential structures. He then moved back to Wyoming to pursue a graduate degree and has been in Wyoming growing his skillset ever since. Dane has over 10 years of design experience and has worked on a large variety of projects highlighted by the UW College of Engineering building and the CSU Transitional Medicine Institute building.
When away from work, Dane spends most of his time with his wife and his two daughters, or, on occasion, he sneaks away from the office for a little fly-fishing on the Shoshone River or a quick round of golf.
